What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it
This is a starting point, not legal advice. It describes what this website actually does, so that the facts are right — but the wording has to be checked by someone qualified in the countries you take bookings from, and edited here before you rely on it.
When you make a booking we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the dates and rooms you booked, the ages of any children travelling with you, and anything you write in the notes. We need all of it to hold the room and to have the stay ready when you arrive.
If you create an account we also keep your email address and a scrambled version of your password. We never store the password itself.
If you subscribe to our newsletter we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send.
We use it to take and honour your booking, to send you the confirmation, to answer you when you write to us, and to run the hotel. We do not sell it.
The hotel you booked, and the systems it uses to run the property. If you paid online, the payment provider — we do not keep card numbers on this website.
Bookings are kept for as long as we are required to keep accounting records. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. An account is kept until you ask us to close it.
The website sets a small number of cookies it needs to work — remembering your language and keeping you signed in. Anything that measures how the site is used only runs if you agree to it on the banner, and you can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the address on the contact page and we will answer.
